Product Description From beer pong to final exams, from instant messaging to hooking up with people whose last names are a complete mystery, The CollegeHumor Guide to College is the bible to getting through college with minimum work and maximum fun. The authors, six recent graduates from colleges around the country, fill readers in on how to do their own laundry, how to pick the best (easiest) professors, and how to tell if someone has an STD just by looking at them.
From the creators of the smash-hit website, The CollegeHumor Guide to College is perfect for anybody who can make it past twelfth grade, and an incredibly mean gift for those who can't.

Lots of Fun April 7, 2006 R. Nicholas (Winston-Salem, NC) 17 out of 23 found this review helpful
Finally an answer to all those phony and irrelevant inspirational books how your mom/aunt/neighbor likes to load you down with as you prepare to leave for college, namely: "Oh! The Places You Will Go!" "College 101: Surviving Freshmen Year" or "The Bible." Well, "The CollegeHumor Guide..." takes a very irrevrent and exciting look at college life and would certainly make any incoming freshmen reader the toast of his/her hall. It's full of college pranks, stories, etc. to get your buddy excited for the next step or reminiscient of his or her glory days.
The realest! June 3, 2007 Tailz 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is such a funny book and even though things are said in a humorous way, most of what is said is true. I have laughed out loud several times while reading this book. But besides being so funny it also has a lot of useful stuff in it. There are a lot of tips in it like what is important to pack for moving to a dorm, some quick and easy recipes for those that don't cook, the fastest, neatest way to fold a shirt. What can be better than a book that makes you laugh AND help you out? Anyone that is in, has been in, or is planning to go to college will love it. This book is great!
Smart writing - Great book April 10, 2006 Nick Gray (NYC) 14 out of 19 found this review helpful
One thing that I enjoy about CollegeHumor.com is the quality of writing. It seems to be consistently written by very smart people. This book is no exception - it was really funny and well written.
Where was this when I was in college March 11, 2008 The Big Shmoo (Where does a shmoo come from?) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My first five star review! I recently went on a buying binge for college guides for my kids. I kept this one for myself and read it cover to cover! Eventually I gave it to my son. He loved it too.
I think if you have kids, and you want to give them some street smarts, give them this book and maybe, College 101: The Book Your College Does Not Want You to Read
I think the two books combined say it all about college.
Hilarious April 10, 2006 Elizabeth J. (Gettysburg PA) 11 out of 16 found this review helpful
I am a college student and figured that most of College Humor's book would be filled with vulgar, "irrelevant" nonsense. To my delight, it was, but it also had pictures to match! In all seriousness though, I was incredibly impressed not only by the book's hilarity but also by the validity and usefulness of all the information presented...Calculating how long you have to actually hang out with your "orientation friends"?!the "turkey dump"!?... BRILLIANT...It truly is the guide to college for our generation. I would have loved to have read it before college, but it's almost better to read now simply because you can laugh out loud at how dead-on the entire book really is. The only gift college bound grads should be getting this June.....Well written, truthful and hilarious...
